Dr. Thomas F. Priolo, MD
Dr. Thomas F. Priolo, MD is a dedicated and compassionate psychiatrist with dual board certifications in general psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry. He brings extensive clinical expertise to TPMD, along with a strong commitment to promoting the mental well-being of his patients.
Dr. Priolo earned his undergraduate degree from Monmouth University and went on to receive his medical degree from St. George’s University. He completed his psychiatry residency at Creedmoor Psychiatric Center, including training at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center, and later pursued a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. Dr. Priolo was chief resident during residency training and chief fellow during fellowship training. Now Dr. Priolo is involved in a number of professional organizations including APA, AACAP, NJCCAP.
He has experience treating a broad spectrum of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, oppositional behaviors, psychotic and manic symptoms, and autism spectrum disorder. Dr. Priolo practices an evidence-based, individualized approach, focusing on building strong, supportive relationships with patients and their families to deliver the highest quality of care.
A native of Freehold NJ, Dr. Priolo is proud to serve the community where he was raised. He is passionate about helping local families and guiding young people through life’s mental health challenges. His patient-centered philosophy emphasizes compassion, collaboration, and empowerment to support individuals and families in achieving lasting well-being.

Nicole, our office administrator, is often the first person you will talk with when calling our office and it is her goal to ensure you feel comfortable, informed, and supported from the very beginning.
